New Year New Me! Welcome 2015!

Ended last year with friends and family and now I’m ready for the New Year!

The last year has been somewhat of a roller coaster and while it was an interesting experience that I learned a lot from I am totally ready for the New Year and new, fun, experiences.

Of course like everyone out there I have chosen to make some New Year Resolutions.

I resolve to:
  1. Work my hardest in school to achieve the best grades possible.
  2. Apply for university, and start in the fall.
  3. Make healthier eating choices and cut out soda.
  4. Start exercising regularly and be more active in my day to day life.
  5. Be more active in my community
As I love to be crafty I of course have to make something to remind me of these Resolutions:

I have a weekly on the go life planner from erincondren.com that I absolutely love! If you are in to organize your life a little bit these are a great way to start! Fun cute planners with tons of accessories to help you stay organized.
I have these coil clips that you can attach to anything to be able to keep in the planner. I chose to use one on my 2015 Resolutions so that I may move it throughout the planner as the year goes on. One of the hardest things about Resolutions is remembering them later in the year, so this way I have an easier time keeping track of them.

I also made a list of more specific resolutions. While the main five that I chose are very important, I feel that having a few more specific resolutions is important. Mine are as follows:

  • Start every week with a TED Talk
  • Read a book a month
  • Print out my photo's
  • Run/Walk Bloomsday
  • Drink more water
  • Increase veggie intake
  • Finish a Hasfit 30-day challenge
  • Organize my life weekly (upkeep)
  • Start a savings account
  • Work harder at remembering people's names
  • Minimize T.V. time
  • Make my own skirt
  • Actually follow through on a New Years Resolution!
I chose to make them into a hanging list to put next to my mirror that I use every morning so that they are in a spot that I will see regularly an be able to keep track of!

I also have gone through my planner and put weekly and monthly reminders to help me with achieving all my goals.

The excitement I have for 2015 is too dang high, and that is okay! I am ready to take on the year with everything I have! And can't wait for you all to join me in making 2015 your best year yet!!

Thank you for reading!

Starting Out!

So this is my first post and it's just a test run to see how it works.

I have lived in Spokane Washington on and off again for my whole life and it amazes me what you can do in this city! A lot of my friends say there really isn't anything to do in Spokane but I think that's cause they aren't really looking. It also may be that there really isn't a place where someone can go and see what's going on in this town.

Spokane has tons of concerts, restaurants, parks, and many other activities to do. I want to not only experience them myself but to also show the rest of Spokane what their city has to offer.

I will spend the year of 2015 posting all the things I will be doing in Spokane as well as things others might be interested in doing. I will include restaurant reviews, concerts, bar reviews, free things to do, romantic date ideas, fun family outings, fundraising events, as well as popular Spokane events such as blooms-day, hoop-fest, pig out in the park, and more!

I love this city and hope to help promote others to love it here as well!

I will also include any other things that might interest me. I love to do crafts and DIY's, so I will also include any projects that I work on throughout the year as well as any fun facts, and how-to's that I find useful online.

I hope people find this blog useful and entertaining!

Thank you for reading!
See you on the first of the year!
